Ajay Subramanya R is a Senior Developer at SAP with over 12 years of experience working on a wide range of technologies. Ajay has worked on Function as a service (FaaS), a category of cloud computing services that provides a platform allowing customers to develop, run, and manage application functionalities without the complexity of building and maintaining the infrastructure typically associated with developing and launching an app. He was the main person in building the Frontend using SAP UI5 framework, JavaScript to enable building an application following this model is one way of achieving a "serverless" architecture which is typically used when building microservices applications. In his past roles at SAP, Ajay worked on SAP Enterprise Messaging service, a cloud-based messaging service that enables you to connect applications and services within the cloud platform. He also worked on creating an Admin tool, JMS client applications, and various POCs to showcase the powerful EMS concepts. Additionally, he worked on OData Modeler in HCI, provisioning OData services from existing data sources such as SOAP, REST, and OData Services which could be further consumed by mobile applications or an FIORI application. Ajay holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from B. M. S. College of Engineering. He also completed his 12th from Christ College and his 10th from The Frank Anthony Public School, Bangalore.
